11/8/2003 Fresh Tomato Sauce From Betty Crocker's Cookbook 6 medium tomatoes, diced (about 4 1/2 c) 2 cloves garlic, finely choped 1 tbsp chopped fresh or 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp chopped fresh parsley or 1 tsp parsley flakes 1 tsp grated parmesan cheese 1 tsp olive oil 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp pepper capers (optional) black olives (optional) Place all ingredients except tomatoes in food processor or blender. Cover and process until smooth. Pour into bowl. Stir in tomatoes.
