2/21/2005 Bulgogi From Judy Lee 1 lb. top sirloin beef 1/2 c sesame oil 1/2 c soyu 2 cloves garlic, chopped fine or mashed (I may use more; can't remember, as I haven't made this for a long time) 1 T sugar black pepper 3 scallions, chopped fine gin tabasco Slice meat into thin strips. Mix with gin to tenderize. Mix together all other ingredients; knead meat into sauce until it absorbs most of the marinade. I leave it marinade for awhile. Broil close to heat; turn once. Our recipe we made: 1.66lb top sirloin, cut like bacon, squashed 1/2 c sesame oil 3/4 c soyu 3 cloves garlic, chopped fine 1 1/2 tbsp sugar (try brown sugar next time?) 1 tsp mixed pepper 5 scallions, chopped thick 1/4 c gin 2 tsp tabasco
