This hike completely failed, but we got some views out of it anyway. It was March, so I cracked my winter hikes book (Mooers), and we picked Anderson Mountain. We were not even able to drive halfway up the ROAD to where we were supposed to park. The road was snow-covered (around 1,000 ft), steep, and poorly maintained. The kicker was when it began to be covered by logs.

Not the usual Subaru Outbacks that you see on these outings.

But...

It looks like a nifty toy.

Last view. Then we sat in the car and picked out another hike in the area, "The Alger Alp", which turned out much better.
