Yay, lacy doilies finally! I made this with two strands of quilting thread crocheted together, one solid blue thread, and one thread that changes color from navy to light blue and back. I found this pattern on the web, dated 1951. I think it's absolutely gorgeous in the middle, however, I think the border (10 ch loops) is totally stupid, and some of the gaps were the wrong size, so I'm going to rewrite the pattern and try it again sometime. 8 inches across.
